The Roots blower is an oxygen supply facility that converts low-pressure air into high-pressure air. It is applied in the biochemical systems of various sewage treatment stations, including municipal sewage treatment, aquaculture sewage treatment, and industrial sewage treatment. Product Operate Guide

I. Pre-operation Checks

Verify that the power supply is stable and matches the rated voltage of the blower.

Check the oil level in the gear box and ensure it is within the specified range.

Inspect the blower for any visible damage or leaks. Ensure all fittings and connections are tight.

Confirm that the intake and exhaust ports are unobstructed.


II. Starting the Blower 

Open the intake and exhaust valves to their fully open positions.

Turn on the power switch and start the blower. Observe the rotation direction to ensure it matches the direction indicated on the blower.

Listen for any abnormal noises or vibrations during startup. If any are detected, immediately shut down the blower and investigate.


III. Operation Monitoring

Regularly check the temperature of the blower housing and bearings. If overheating is detected, shut down the blower and allow it to cool before investigating the cause.

Monitor the pressure and flow rate of the air being discharged. Ensure they remain within the specified operating range.

Keep a log of operating parameters and any maintenance performed for future reference.


IV. Shutting Down the Blower 

Gradually close the intake and exhaust valves to reduce the load on the blower.

Turn off the power switch to shut down the blower.

After shutdown, perform a visual inspection of the blower and its surroundings to ensure everything is in order.
